Having been in multiple veterinarian hospitals, Catherine is a great asset to the clinic. Bringing on many new tools and techniques, her experience and knowledge are always appreciated by her colleagues. Studying for 1 year in Biology at the University of Montreal in 2002, she was accepted in the Veterinary Medicine Doctorate program and graduated in 2008. From May 2004 to May 2005, she worked as a technician/receptionist at l’Hôpital Vétérinaire de Piedmont. She immediately realized the hard work her colleagues do and until this day, never takes it for granted.

In July 2005, she went to the Clinique Vétérinaire Gaillourdet in Paris, France. In August 2005, she went to l’Hôpital Vétérinaire Canis in Girona, Spain. She was able to bring back certain techniques from across the ocean, which makes her a competent and versatile veterinarian.

In the summer of 2006, she went to the CIRMF (primatology center) of Franceville, Gabon, Africa. She became more knowledgeable with regards to animal behavior which added another string to her bow.

In her last year of studying (2007-2008), she did many different internships. Hôpital Vétérinaire Ste-Thérèse, Clinique Vétérinaire St-Louis in Montreal, Centre Vétérinaire DMV in Lachine all helped her become the accomplished professional she is. She is quick, efficient, helpful and deals very well with stress and emergencies.

As a veterinarian she has worked at 4 different clinics in Montreal; Clinique Vétérinaire Monkland, Clinique Vétérinaire Ville-Émard, Hôpital Vétérinaire Verdun and Clinique Chat Montreal. Once again, many experiences equal varied techniques and knowledge, which is who she is! This is not counting her generosity of time and flexibility to accommodate our clients, no matter what.

Other than work, she is a mother of 2 adored children, she loves to run and has participated in many events such as half-marathons. She also likes to hike, because it is peaceful and calming. Finally, she loves to travel with her family. She continuously learns about other ways of living and other cultures, which makes her a very open-minded person.

All and all, Catherine is a wonderful veterinarian, mother, friend and colleague. She is accomplished, passionate and loves animals. She is understanding and helps the technicians better their work, and therefore makes the overall clinic excel. Her many experiences are valuable to everyone, which makes us more efficient and knowledgeable.

We are thrilled and fortunate to have Catherine in our team since April 2014!
