Her career path
After 11 years, Joanne came out of retirement to assist her niece Laura Frascarelli in the accounting operations of her veterinary clinic.
In addition to the accounting function of the clinic, the one function the employees appreciate is ensuring the refrigerator is always full for their use. The clinic was built with a full kitchen. All employees have meals included while on the job, therefore, they are always present for customers and patients and happy to be of service.
Before retiring, Joanne worked at Bell Canada for 30 years. At Bell Joanne held a management position in various cities: Montreal, Granby, Ottawa, Sherbrooke, Trois Rivieres and Saguenay; with various functions: finance, customer service operations, network operations, project management and billing operations.
In her spare time, she loves to babysit her great nephews and nieces, cook and play Texas Hold’em poker.
Everyone at the clinic (including the owner of the building), calls Joanne, Aunty Joanne. She is a major foundation stone to Dre Laura Frascarelli’s clinic and she is deeply appreciated and loved by all employees. Her thoroughness, efficiency, reliability and loyalty make her indispensable to the success of the clinic. Not only is her presence always welcomed, but it is very reassuring and comforting. Her advice and experience on employee management, client service and finances bring a lot of knowledge and daily education to Dre Laura Frascarelli. She is her sounding board and brings rational advice on many levels.
Needless to say, we are very lucky to have Aunty Joanne among us!
