At Fontainebleau Veterinary Clinic, we have state-of-the-art equipment to perform ultrasounds, X-rays, and dental radiographs to better assess your pet’s health. These diagnostic tools are essential for accurately identifying various conditions and guiding our treatment plans.
For many conditions, such as respiratory, cardiac, abdominal, or orthopedic issues, radiographic imaging is often necessary to further investigate or confirm a diagnosis. With digital radiography (DR), an image can be obtained in just four seconds, allowing for a quick and precise analysis. This technology also enables detailed enlargements of any part of the body, facilitating early and accurate diagnoses. Additionally, images can be emailed for rapid interpretation by a specialist if needed.
Ultrasound uses sound waves to create images of your pet’s internal organs. It is a non-invasive and painless procedure that allows for the examination of organs such as the heart, liver, kidneys, and abdomen. This valuable tool helps detect abnormalities in soft tissues and supports early diagnosis. Ultrasounds are performed by a general practice veterinarian, who will interpret the results and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
