Annie
Annie Animal Health Technician

Annie has been a certified Animal Health Technician since 2003. Throughout her years, she has held various positions and pursued various studies, making her an incredible technician our team can count on at all times. She studied technology from 2000 to 2003 at the Collège de Lapocatière. Following her studies, she worked in several clinics, which allowed her to acquire exceptional field experience.

She first worked at the DMV Center in Lachine from 2003 to 2004. Afterward, she worked at the Daubigny Veterinary Hospital in Quebec City from 2004 to 2005, then at the Lesage-Robin-Tousignant Veterinary Hospital in Quebec City until 2006, and finally at the Rive-Nord Veterinary Hospital in Trois-Rivières until 2007. Throughout these years, she gained valuable experience by covering various departments, further honing her skills as a technician. She has worked in imaging, surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and many other areas. These diverse experiences have made her a highly skilled technician capable of handling multiple roles simultaneously.

During these years, she continued her studies. She earned a DEC in Health Science in 2006, followed by a certificate in Biophysics from the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières. In 2007, she obtained her nail technician diploma from the Joan Beauté Nail Institute in Ste-Thérèse. She also received her ENTSA certification in 2008, which led to her position as Chief Technician at the DMV Veterinary Center in Lachine. This role allowed her to develop key skills in emergency management, case prioritization, time management, and leadership with staff. She has become an invaluable reference for both veterinarians and fellow technicians. Forgetfulness and inefficiency are not in her vocabulary!

Annie's career has not only focused on animals. From 2007 to 2011, she pursued a course in inhalation therapy at Collège Rosemont in Montreal, which enabled her to work as a respiratory therapist at Ste-Justine Hospital. This experience has provided her with specialized knowledge in pediatrics, adding yet another skill to her already impressive expertise.

Annie is a technician we can always count on. She has an exemplary calm demeanor and an incredible wealth of knowledge. With her extensive experience, she has become a reference for all the members of our team.

But Annie’s life isn’t all about work. She is a devoted mother to two little girls who keep her busy! She also has a passion for baking, which led her to create her own homemade baking business, Les Petits Plaisirs Coupables d'Annie. Additionally, she has an unusual but delightful hobby of raising chickens!

In short, Annie is truly an extraordinary woman. She is highly effective, offers a wealth of clinical expertise, and is a trusted ally to all team members. She maintains a professional attitude while also bringing a unique sense of humor and an endearing personality that makes her a joy to be around. Both clients and staff alike are always happy to be in her presence!

We are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our team since February 2015.
