After studying biochemistry at the University of Montreal, Laura Frascarelli specialized further by pursuing a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the same university, starting in September 2003. She successfully completed her doctorate in May 2008.
Beginning in 2003, Laura started conducting veterinary observations at various hospitals and clinics. These experiences, gained in different countries and healthcare settings, allowed her to develop a strong foundation of expertise in the field.
She worked as a technician at the Canis Veterinary Clinic in Spain during the summer of 2004, at the Mont Pleasant Hospital in Connecticut (USA) in June 2005, at the Eastern Veterinary Hospital in Anjou (Canada) in 2005, and at the DMV Center in the spring of 2006. Eager to deepen her medical knowledge, Laura Frascarelli then completed two internships.
The first, in May and June of 2007, took place at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and focused on neurology and internal medicine. The second internship, in July and August of 2007, took place at the DMV Center and focused more specifically on surgery and dermatology.
In May 2008, Laura Frascarelli earned her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Montreal, officially becoming a veterinarian. With a wealth of diverse and solid experience, she is qualified to work in a variety of settings. Her comprehensive studies and internships, coupled with her professionalism, quickly earned her recognition in the field.
Laura Frascarelli began her veterinary career at the Michel Venne Veterinary Hospital, where she worked from June 2008 to April 2009. From April 2009 to March 2010, she joined the veterinary team at the Lachute Hospital. She then continued her career in Quebec, first at the Sainte-Rose Veterinary Hospital (April 2009 to January 2011), then at the Gaspé Veterinary Clinic (August to September 2010), and finally at the Lab West Veterinary Hospital (March 2010 to November 2012, for two months each year). In March 2011, Laura Frascarelli moved to the United Kingdom, where she worked for 8 months before returning to Quebec. After her return, she worked in several hospitals and, in September 2012, she returned to England for a month. Finally, from March 2012 to February 2013, she worked at the Rosemère Veterinary Clinic.
Creation of the Fontainebleau Veterinary Clinic After a highly comprehensive professional career and long, successful studies, Dr. Laura Frascarelli decided to open her own veterinary clinic in Fontainebleau.
Her numerous internships and professional experiences have allowed her to gain extensive expertise in the field, understand the many challenges of this complex profession, and develop precise, high-quality care techniques. With experience in the United States, United Kingdom, Labrador, and Quebec, Dr. Frascarelli has worked with a diverse clientele, encountered a wide range of medical cases, and now possesses a wealth of unique and valuable experience.
A young woman passionate about her profession, Dr. Laura Frascarelli wanted to create a unique space where she could directly share her skills and knowledge for the benefit of the animals entrusted to her. Her desire to build special relationships with her clients and their pets has come to fruition with the opening of her own clinic, designed to offer the best possible care. These connections will grow over time, built on a foundation of mutual trust.
Based on her extensive observations, Dr. Frascarelli wanted to make the most of her experience by equipping herself with state-of-the-art equipment and surrounding herself with a highly trustworthy team.
She is also the proud mother of two children with whom she shares many wonderful moments.
